As the official theme park home to Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Transformers, Despicable Me & The Minions, Jurassic World, and The Simpsons, Universal Studios Hollywood is a smaller rival to Disneyland, located just north of Orange County in Los Angeles. Although many of the park’s rides just involve sitting in a moving cart and being shown videos, some are more exciting and fast-moving than others, and there are opportunities to enjoy Harry Potter and Simpsons-themed foods, as well as shop park-exclusive Nintendo merchandise.
Universal Studios Hollywood also offers a backlot-style studio tour and access to Universal CityWalk – a shopping, dining, and entertainment district outside the park, complete with its own movie theater and live event venue.
