Formerly known as The Block – during its heyday as a skate and surf culture shopping center in the 1990s and 2000s – The Outlets at Orange is currently Orange County’s major outlet mall, hosting a Banana Republic Factory store, Nordstrom Rack, the Nike Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, and Saks Off 5th, plus many youth-focused clothing and collectible boutiques in an entirely outdoor setting. One of Orange County’s earliest Krispy Kreme locations operates a hot donut conveyor belt on a free-standing outparcel, while restaurants such as BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Devil & Angel Desserts, Mong Q Mongolian BBQ, and Saddle Ranch Chop House operate inside the center’s main footprint.
Though The Outlets lost its locally famous Vans skate park, it is currently home to an AMC 30 movie theater, Lucky Strike Lanes bowling, The Escape Game, and a Dave & Busters, offering guests multiple entertainment destinations. Musicians will also appreciate the mall’s Guitar Center, which sells new and used musical instruments, amps, microphones, and accessories.
