Pho Ha Noi

Decent Vietnamese food without great service in Irvine

Reopened as Pho Ha Noi in 2007 after originally launching as Saigon Grille, this Irvine Vietnamese restaurant’s most notable factoid is that it was geographically close to a really good, reasonably priced pho shop which departed Irvine, leaving this as the lone such option in its neighborhood. Although it may have been good years ago, Pho Ha Noi was at best mediocre when we last visited, serving okay bowls of pho, not particularly loaded crispy mi xao birds’ nests, and bland spring rolls with an utter lack of concern for service.

At this point, there are enough places in Orange County to get great bowls of Vietnamese soup or dry noodles (at the same prices) that we couldn’t recommend Pho Ha Noi for any reason except convenience.
