Undeniably impressive from the outside in, the distinctively curved silver and red Petersen Automotive Museum displays a collection of classic and modern vehicles that puts all but the largest royal garages to shame. Two admission ticket classes – one general, the other with access to an extra 250 vehicles in an oversized garage called The Vault – offer auto enthusiasts the ability to see famous cars including Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T., a DeLorean from Back to the Future, and multiple Batmobiles, as well as modern supercars, historic electric and combustion engine vehicles, and even motorcycles. The general admission ticket includes access to permanent and rotating exhibitions, the latter (as of time of writing) including an incredible selection of lowriders, concept cars, autonomous vehicles, and historic EVs.
Parking is $17-23 depending on the length of your visit, made free with a $75 or more purchase from the gift shop.
