Newport Beach Farmers’ Market
Overlooking Newport Pier, this Sunday morning gathering includes clothes, produce, and home decor
Immediately next to Newport Pier, the Newport Beach Farmers’ Market operates from 9am to 1pm every Sunday as a collection of tent-covered vendors who are ready with clothing, fresh produce, and home decor items regardless of the weather. Clothing gets the first mention here as these vendors are a higher percentage here than at other farmers’ markets we’ve visited locally.
Though the produce options change considerably with the seasons, we’ve seen nice arrays of mushrooms and heirloom tomatoes here in the summer and early fall, citrus and extra large red strawberries across multiple seasons, and persimmons in fall and early winter.
Paid parking is available in an immediately adjacent lot, as well as on streets in the area. Due to its proximity to the beach, as well as beachfront restaurants (and Handel’s Ice Cream), expect to see plenty of people in the area, though only a fraction actually attending this market.
