Partnered with BLUM galleries in Tokyo and NYC, the Los Angeles location hosts roughly four rotating exhibitions at a time, drawing on a stable of over 60 predominantly (but not exclusively) Japanese or Korean artists, as well as others from Europe and the United States. From drawings and paintings to crafts, sculptures, and digital works, the gallery’s large spaces are devoted to contemporary art, accommodating everything from room-filling wood carvings to pottery and canvases. Selected works from artists including Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama are on display alongside the rotating exhibitions.
Parking in an adjacent lot is free, and the neighborhood has other small galleries to explore as well.
