Jam Jam Tea Lab

Even though not every plaza needs to have its own boba tea shop, some plazas are made considerably more appealing by hosting really good ones, and Jam Jam Tea Lab is a prime example. Opened in late 2023 in the same Corporate Park plaza as Poke Tiki, House of Kabob, and Siam Station, in Irvine and very close to The District at Tustin Legacy, Jam Jam produces a fairly narrow but legitimately nice collection of drinks with two major assets: strong base flavors, and excellent boba.

We’ve had more than our fair share of Thai tea and Oreo drinks over the years, but Jam Jam’s brûlée slushes were “wow” level – perfectly balanced in sweetness, thickness, and flavor; similarly, its brown sugar milk drinks were tasty enough to inspire us to drop in twice in two days. When we returned on subsequent occasions, we sampled and loved their peach slush and dragon fruit smash, each a winner on flavor and presentation.
