Re Ca Phe

Re Ca Phe is one of the most unusual tea shops we’ve visited in Orange County in that it’s completely, totally gimmick-free – a serious and mature choice in an area where virtually every new drink shop is either trying something weird to stand out or copying someone else’s look and menu. Walking into Re is like finding a tea house inside a contemporary art gallery: The industrial, cleanly decorated space is minimalist, quiet, and decidedly not trying to get you to pose for Instagram photos with a neon sign or wall full of flowers.

Quality drinks such as the black sesame matcha were what drew us in, and there’s a very short list of other tea options, focusing on hot teas and refreshers, plus one or two coffee choices, changing seasonally. Re also serves three flavors of canales, and not much else.
